ABOUT LIVE BEATS LAB: MUSIC PRODUCTION & VOCALS
If your voice is your instrument and you’re ready to shape it into something powerful, Live Beats Lab: Vocals is where it begins. This workshop, led by vocalist and producer Jarrel Pierson, goes beyond traditional singing lessons — it’s a space to explore how live vocals and digital music production come together in today’s sound. You’ll work on vocal technique, tone, and delivery while also learning how to record, layer, and produce your voice using modern tools. Weekly group sessions help you build core skills, while open lab hours provide individualized support to develop your unique sound. Whether you’re a singer, rapper, or spoken word artist, this is your space to grow your vocal presence and learn how to share it with the world. This workshop series is 18+ only.

ABOUT J
Jarrel Pierson is a multi-talented graduate of Middle Tennessee State University’s Recording Industry program. In addition to his background as an audio engineer and producer, Jarrel sings, performs spoken word, and DJs. His music can be found in Walmart, Adidas, Carmax, MTV etc.
