Write with Pride Open Mic

We invite you to the first open mic of the Write With Pride series!Our featured performer is Southern Word poet, Chloe Philpot! Chloe Philpot is a poet and spoken word artist based in Middle Tennessee, but currently attends East Tennessee State University as a sophomore, pursing a BA in both English and Communications. She has competed in regional and international poetry slams with teams from Tennessee and Alabama, and was published in Scholastic’s The Best Teen Writing of 2019. Chloe currently uses her platform to work towards building safer spaces for queer youth in rural communities.
