Music Production Master Class

The Music Production Master Class is for teens interested in learning how to make beats and produce music tracks. Participants may also schedule 30 minute recording sessions Tuesday through Friday. These workshops are open to producers of all levels as well as songwriters, singers, rappers, and anyone interested in producing their own music. Complete the producer certification program to be cleared to run your own recording sessions. This will be a hybrid program streamed from Studio NPL. You can attend in person at Studio NPL on the third floor of the Nashville Public Library or virtually. For teens in grades 9-12. This workshop series is a partnership between Southern Word and the Nashville Public Library’s Studio NPL.

Tristan Keith Rogers is a Grammy and Stellar Award nominated music producer, writer, musician, and educator who currently resides in Nashville, TN. Born in Raleigh, North Carolina, and growing up in a talented musical family, he began playing music and developing his own musical sound at an early age. Tristan is a graduate of Tennessee State University and Trevecca Nazarene University where he earned degrees in Business Management and a Masters in Education.

Tristan has worked and played with artists in all genres of music including gospel legends Dorinda Clark, Rance Allen, and Todd Dulaney; christian music legend Nicole C. Mullen; country music stars Caroline Kole and Chase Bryant; Canadian pop artist Reeny, rapper Derrick Minor (formerly Pro), blues legend Jonny Lang, and many more. Currently, Tristan is working on several projects for radio and TV commercials, and on a few albums soon to be released.
