Moving the Music Forward (Teens)

You bring the lyrics and hopefully a melody. A music mentor will work with you to figure out the chords, the instrumentation, and the song structure to bring your vision to life. This includes learning how to make beats for those who are interested. Collaboration and co-writing with other teens will be encouraged. Open to youth ages 13 to 19.

This workshop series is a partnership between Southern Word and the Nashville Public Library’s Studio NPL.
