About Jerome Moore
Jerome Moore, a North Nashville native, is an explorer of social change and gifted creator and host of Deep Dish Conversations – a thought-provoking series that delves into critical social, cultural, and political issues within our community. Leveraging his extensive experience and community connections, Jerome engages with community members, leaders, organizers, activists, politicians, and entertainers to offer diverse perspectives on social change.
Having served as a United States Peace Corps volunteer in Paraguay, Jerome’s passion for community building and exploration led him to embark on exciting journeys in Costa Rica, China, and the Philippines.
Jerome’s multifaceted talents extend to his role as host and producer of the popular TV show A Slice of the Community at Nashville Public Television. He is a community organizer, explorer, and pizza connoisseur, always eager to lean into the tension, humor, discomfort, and learning that come with purposeful exploration.
Jerome is also thrilled to announce the publication of his debut book titled “Deep Dish Conversations: Voices of Social Change in Nashville.” The book released on May 15th, 2023 by Vanderbilt University Press. This book emphasizes the importance of thinking globally and working locally.
