A Celebration of Writing with Han Rodriguez

Join Han Rodriguez and the Writers of NSA as they share their writing on Tuesday, September 9 at Nashville School of the Arts.

Han is a graduate of Hunters Lane and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Han participated in Southern Word’s inaugural programs as a high school student including representing Tennessee at the national poetry slam. After graduating from college, they returned to Nashville and began as a mentor with Southern Word where they oversaw the development of a youth board, marketing strategy, and a college writer support system. They have also worked with The Illinois Coalition for the Fair Sentencing of Children, Nashville-Davidson Continuum of Care (CoC), and SURJ (Showing Up for Racial Justice) Nashville as part of their ongoing work toward racial and social justice.
