Ione Michele Singletary graduated in May 2019 with her MFA from The University of the South at the age of 50. She is a single mother of two boys, ages 18 and 14, and a servant to a witchy black cat goddess. She lives in Nashville, Tennessee where she is an Associate Professor of English at Nashville State Community College and a member of The Porch Writers’ Collective. Her work has recently appeared in Last Leaves Magazine and Ponder Review among others.
