As Southern Word enters its 15^th year serving youth in Nashville and across Tennessee, we are excited to celebrate the growth and the lives impacted by creating platforms for youth voice, placing new role models in schools to support teachers and students, and elevating the aspirations of young people in terms of their ability to communicate.

You are part of this positive change we believe is possible.

We have positioned Southern Word and our community for greater impact. We need your help to continue this momentum and continue to transform the educational spaces and supports available to young Tennesseans.

Join us and bring your friends to the 2022 Friendraiser on July 14 at 5:30pm at Go West Creative for a night of community and inspiration. The event is free, but we will welcome guests to contribute to Southern Word’s next 15 years and beyond.
