Over the past 14 years, Southern Word has developed some of Nashville’s leading young writers and music producers through its programs. During the summer, we create paid opportunities for young people to create and distribute art that positively impacts Nashville.

We are presently conducting interviews with writers and musicians who might be interested in this employment opportunity over the course of 7 weeks from June 3 through July 19.

Special employment opportunities exist for students who are presently juniors or seniors at Maplewood, Stratford, Pearl-Cohn, Overton, Glencliff, Antioch, or Cane Ridge High Schools.
